Owner Bios:

John C. Gavin, Founder
Started Historical Bricks after spending 25 years as a senior member of Leonhardt Sullivan and Associates, a management engineering consulting firm with experience in the US, Canada, S America and Europe.

Mike Gavin, Partner
Joined the family business after graduating from Butler University with a degree in Marketing and receiving a JD from the University of Iowa College of Law. Mike and his wife Annie have a son Danny and two daughters Elsie and Betsy.

Gavin Historical Bricks is a family run business that has grown to be the largest and most respected supplier of reclaimed antique paving and building material in the nation.

What we do:

We reclaim and supply antique brick and stone for new construction/landscapes with an old world look as well as historic restoration projects. Our materials grace private homes and public buildings as well as large scale brick street restoration projects across the United States.

How we work with you:

It is our goal to find the perfect material for your project. We typically start by sending you additional photos of products you find interesting and then follow up with actual samples. We then provide you with a quotation and arrange for the materials to be delivered directly to your contractor or jobsite.
